Currently Young and Old Divine has agreed to assist and help the residents of Natal Settlers Memorial Homes.
KZN Care Association is a registered non-profit organization that provides accommodation care for approximately 300 residents. While they are largely a residential care home for the elderly and adults with disabilities, they also provide a caring home for 29 children and youth with cerebral palsy.
All but 6 of the children/youth were abandoned by their families at an early age and placed in their care by the State. Only 6 of these young residents know or have contact with their biological families. For the remaining 23 children/youth, Hepburn House is their only home and the caregivers there are the only mothers they have and will ever know.
These young residents require 24-hour nursing care and support.
How Can you help?
There are various different projects we have undertaken to improve the quality of life of all those that live on the premises. We are collecting a number of different items that we need assistance with.
